I encountered an issue with the campaign where I was apparently supposed to mount a nifty new weapon on my ship, only I couldn't. I've completed the tutorial and the first few missions of the Campaign.

Not helping that is that the guidance indicators for where everything is are relative to your ship heading, not to your camera point of view, so first I have to line up on the ship, then try and figure out which way I should point the camera.Ĭollision boundaries are an issue in parts of the game thus far, with the Tutorial Space Station being solidly where nothing but space was visible, and insubstantially there where I was tootling along through the model on my way to the docking ring.Īdd that to the depth perception issues I am having with the game, and sometimes I am not entirely sure which parts of the map are safe. Having trouble lining up shots, in part because I haven't figured out yet how to track a target so that my weapon arcs are always facing them, in part because despite the noisy backgrounds I am having trouble determining how far away everything is from my craft.

Kinda reminds me of Treasure Planet:Battle at Procyon in that regard, with ships having turning curves based on velocity et al. "https:/zootovaryvsems.3rd person viewpoint on a single plane, no Z-axis movement.
